Whether you live locally or have travelled to Syros on holiday, Annie and Meos would like to welcome you to ByRaki taverna where you can relax and enjoy our homemade cuisine.

New to Greek cuisine, or just not sure where to start? Annie speaks fluent English and is always happy to explain the menu or recommend a dish.

We have a spacious exterior dining area with a magnificent panoramic view of the South Aegean.

This dining area is covered, which provides shade during the summer months and offers protection should it rain.

On a clear day, Naxos, Paros, Antiparos and Sifnos can be viewed across the water.

During winter months, we have a heated indoor dining room.

Every dish on our menu is prepared fresh to order and can be enjoyed at your own pace in our dining areas, indoors or out on the terrace, or packaged up for you to take away and enjoy wherever your day takes you.

Coffee, Beers & More

You are also more than welcome to simply drop by at any time for a coffee, a beer, some wine, tsipouro, or ouzo, accompanied by a meze.

Getting here is easy

If you are travelling from Ermoupolis, ByRaki is on the right as you enter Megas Gialos. From the beach in Megas Gialos we are just one kilometre away in the direction of Vari and Ermpoupolis.

We have a spacious car park adjacent to our taverna.

There is a KTEL bus stop on the road in front of our premises.

Syros has an excellent 24 hour taxi service. Should you need one for your return journey, Annie will only be too pleased to help and call one for you.

Group Bookings

Groups are welcome, however please make a reservation ahead of your visit to avoid disappointment.
